Dominicans’ Siete Palabras Inspires the Nation this Good Friday

Quezon City – March 28, 2025 – The Dominican Province of the Philippines, in partnership with the University of Santo Tomas and the Santo Domingo Convent, held the annual Siete Palabras this Good Friday, March 28, 2025, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of La Naval de Manila, Sto. Domingo Church, Quezon City.
With the theme “Krus ni Hesus: Bukal ng Pag-asa” (The Cross of Jesus: Wellspring of Hope), the event invited the faithful to reflect on Christ's Passion as a source of true hope.
Reflections on the Seven Last Words of Jesus were preached by six Dominican friars and one priest from the Dominican Priestly Fraternity of St. Dominic:
“Ama, patawarin mo sila, sapagka't hindi nila nalalaman ang kanilang ginagawa.”

The event was organized by Dominican Communications Philippines, with support from SCI Security and Investigation, Inc., Radio Veritas 846, and the Catholic Media Network. It was broadcast live on GMA7, YouTube, Facebook and other Social Media partner platforms.
