The Novitiate is a non-academic year, a period of probation where the novices appropriate the essential and primary requirements of Dominican life.
It provides the period of relative withdrawal and solitude, sufficient to enable one to be at the side of the Lord “who invites his disciples to a lonely place by themselves.” (Mk. 6:31)
THE POST-NOVITIATE
DOMINICAN STUDENTATE
📍Santo Domingo, Quezon City
Upon religious profession, the brothers are led towards the full discovery and appropriation of their Dominican life and mission.
They undertake philosophical and theological studies alongside various apostolic ministries. These culminate into the ordination for clerical formation or solemn profession for the cooperator brotherhood formation.
