Priestly Fraternities in the Philippines welcome new members in the Diocese of Alaminos, Pangasinan

In a solemn and grace-filled celebration, the Rite of Vestition for the Priestly Fraternities of St. Dominic in the Philippines was held at the St. Joseph the Patriarch Cathedral in Alaminos, Pangasinan on Feb. 5, 2026. The ceremony followed a Holy Mass presided over by Most Rev. Napoleon Sipalay, Jr., OP, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Alaminos, and concelebrated by Most Rev. Jesus Cabrera, D.D., Bishop-Emeritus, along with several priests from the diocese.


The vestition rites were led by Br. Roy Rodriguez, OP, Provincial Promoter of the Priestly Fraternities of St. Dominic in the Philippines. Assisting in the rites were brothers from the Convent of Our Lady of the Rosary in Manaoag: Br. Jerone Geronimo, OP (Parish Priest) and Br. Samuel Sonny Gunawan, OP (Parochial Vicar) of the Our Lady of the Rosary Parish.

The newly vested members of the Fraternities of St. Dominic are: Rev. Fr. Romeo Tandoc (Diocese of Alaminos); Rev. Fr. Alvin Vince Cruz (Diocese of Alaminos); and, Rev. Fr. Paulo Jesus Nazareno (Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan)
