Nine Dominican Friars Make Simple Profession in Manaoag

On June 4, 2026, the Dominican Family rejoiced as nine brothers made their Simple Profession during the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag in Pangasinan. This important occasion marked a new stage in their religious formation and their commitment to the Dominican way of life.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Filemon I. dela Cruz Jr., OP, Prior Provincial of the Dominican Province

of the Philippines, and concelebrated by Dominican friars from various communities. The celebration gathered members of the Dominican Family, relatives, friends, and the faithful in prayer and thanksgiving.

The newly professed brothers are Br. Jim Mark G. Orlan, OP; Br. K.A. Tehan Sampath Sri Dalas Perera, OP; Br. Francis Hyle M. De Leon, OP; Br. Rassched Chevy U. Avilla, OP; Br. Yoga Dwi Kaswara, OP; Br. Cherwi Jonatan, OP; Br. Lawrence J. Pacatang, OP; Br. Michael S. Pepania Jr., OP; and Br. Khen Airon A. Yonzon, OP.
