Dominicans Gather for Intellectual Sharing on St. Dominic’s Solemnity

In celebration of the Solemnity of St. Dominic, the brethren of the province and Dominican sisters gathered for an afternoon of intellectual synthesis and fraternal sharing. The gathering featured presentations of doctoral dissertations from two brothers of the Province.
Br. Jayson R. Gonzales, OP shared his work in Moral Theology titled “The Role of Prudence in Pastoral Accompaniment for Individuals and Families Considering Euthanasia: A Thomistic Approach.”
Br. Valentinus Bayuhadi Ruseno, OP presented his research in Biblical Theology titled “Jesus and the Purity Law in the Gospel of Mark.”
Those present participated actively by raising insightful questions and reflections on the topics presented. True to the Dominican calling as Preachers, this activity served to nourish both mind and heart, ensuring that our preaching flows from the fullness of both.
